Placement expectations

• Provide accurate listing information and keep it current
• Disclose health and documentation honestly, including what is not available
• Screen buyers appropriately for the animal being placed
• Use written placement agreements where you offer them, and describe them accurately
• State return or rehoming policies clearly where you use them
• Follow responsible rehoming practices and avoid rushed placements
• Never use coercive, misleading, or high-pressure sales behavior
• Respect applicable local, state, and federal law for breeding, sales, transport, and placement
